The Archival Description
Hand-crafted by the Atelier from a singular, ancient stump, the Sylvan Pillar is a study in material contrast. The timber’s weathered architecture has been meticulously finished in a deep, lustrous lacquer, preserving the depth of its grain and the history of its exposure to the elements.
Three tiered terracotta vessels are suspended by iron-link chains, forming a vertical sanctuary for trailing flora or mosses. The piece occupies space with quiet authority, suited to an entryway or shaded conservatory where the boundary between wild growth and domestic order remains deliberately porous.
